SPREADER APPLICATIONS

The IceStriker™ 1000-3300 SSA/SSC series of 12/24V stainless steel salt spreaders are available in 1.0 to 3.3 cu yd capacities. The SSA model has a 6” stainless steel auger and the SSC model is equipped with a 12” pintle chain system. All SSA/SSC spreaders come standard with Hilltip’s StrikeSmart™ controllers with ground speed control and our patented HTrack™ 2-way GPRS tracking/control system. A variety of lighting options are available, as well as, in-cabin asymmetry adjustment of the chute.

STAINLESS STEEL SPREADERS

The durable 12 gauge hopper is made in high quality AISI304 stainless steel. The hopper body is also entirely acid treated by submersion in an acid bath for clean welds and surfaces with guaranteed long-lasting corrosion -free use. The hopper surface is easy to clean and maintain, and provides a smooth material flow. The spreader is designed for spreading bulk sand and gravel, bulk/bag salt, sand-salt mixes and fertilisers.

HTRACK™ TRACKING SYSTEM

These stainless steel salt spreaders are compatible with our HTrack™ tracking software. You can track and manage all of your spreading devices online on your computer, tablet or smartphone. The program shows treatment routes and spreading details on the map in real-time or between specific time intervals. Spreading route details such as speed, GPS location, and material used can be summarized and generated as PDF reports.

COLOR SCREEN CONTROLLER

Tailor your spreading session to your needs with the customizable controller. The automatic GPS speed control adjusts the amount of spreading material (lbs/1000 sq ft ) according to your vehicle speed, while manual mode lets you insert a fixed auger speed. The controller additionally collects and saves essential data to a USB memory, allowing you to generate spreading reports. The controller also makes it easy to turn on functions, like the vibrator, beacon and work light, from inside the cabin.

FLIP UP CHUTE

INVERTED V

Inverted-V helps reduce heavy start-up loads on the auger. All in stainless steel.

VIBRATOR

Vibrator prevents bridging and de-icing material from clogging by shaking the inverted Vee.

AUGER

The 6″ stainless steel 3-pitch auger gives you an even flow of material to the spinner.
